Heh heh... I love this time of season - everyone reaches for the opposition team sheet.
I'm a Lion so I can give you the inside word on Cupido.
He is a tremendously talented kid who has had a lot of injury troubles in the past year and a half. Played really well as a half forward for the first half of 2001 before he dislocated his shoulder against Sydney in a tackle. He played well in the ressies after getting back but we were a bit busy winning a premiership as you may recall so he never got back in. This year he did the same shoulder again early on and then I think he did hammie or something. At any rate he was pretty much unavailable all year.
On the positive side he does have heaps of talent but still has some work to do on his consistency and team play - he's one of those players who tends to be in and out of the game and sometimes lairises a bit. To be fair though he had improved this aspect of his game prior to his injuries. If he can pick up where he left off he could be brilliant. And he's still only 20.
Now, what's the word on Caracella? I know he kicked a couple against us this year so I'm pretty excited. Number 33 at Brissy is spoken for, though.
