hey just a quick question, im a victorian and my mate dave mundy got drafted first pick of the second round last year to freo, he is a medium tall defender. does anyone know how hes progressing and if he is close to getting a league game perhaps late this year or next year?? we don't hear a whole lot down here about perth. thanks.

He is progressing very well.. probably only behind Ryan Murphy who has managed a couple of games this year. Still playing in the backline, I've seen his name in the best players for his wafl team a few times. We have quite a few backman, it would probably take a couple of injuries to tall defenders to see him get a gig this year, but I can see him debuting next year (especially if we end up trading people like woods)

Plays for the mighty Subiaco Lions. I think he has a bright future. Went to a game a few weeks back Subi vs East Perth. Merrington(Ex Carlton) killed us in the first half marking evrything and kicked a few goals. Mundy went on him in the second half and pretty much kept him touchless. East Perth were 40 points up at one stage and lost by about 15pts in the end. Mundy had quite a bit to do for the turnaround.
