Who do you think think is the more important onfeild player for us at the moment?
I personaly think Gardy just over Cuzz (may I be struck down for my blasphemy) at the moment. Although I rate Cuzz among the best midfielders in the league, we now seem to have the manpower in the midfield to make up for his non-presence (as seen last night against Geelong).
I think the reason Cuzz had such a huge season last year was because he had too. He never really had anyone (besides Kerr) to help him out so he had to do it all on his own.
How will he go this year with the lessend pressure on him to perform week in week out ? Will he continue to grow or will his workrate slip ?
I'm tipping the first one but I have the feeling that he excells when placed under pressure. That is why he's a champion player.
Last year I would have said that both were essentual to the success of west coast, but being able to leave out our main man and still have our fair share of ball in the middle has got to be a good sign.
