D5 in 2008?

With all these rumors of the SFL's demise and teams potentially moving to the VAFA, it seems there is a chance that a D5 may be created in the off-season.

It would take a minimum of 4 new sides for a D5 to be a viable option. In that case 4 teams from the current 12 in D4 would be "relegated" or "repositioned" with the 4 new sides in D5, making 8 in each division.

It would be a little harsh to be relegated without warning (especially 4 sides), but I guess its for the best of the VAFA competition?

Gives new voice to the 'Snakes for Flag Favourite' in 08 though.
Problem is you would have to do a Carlton and stop winning games Waz, or you will finish out of the bottom four.

My concern is that D5 could be harder to win than D4.... depending on the new sides... If they're as good as Lilydale and Sth Mornington (until recently)?

If your boys keep a cool head they should to win today Waz. They just need to not get sucked in to Sths late hits. The umps are aware of them and will reward the team that shows discipline.
