Fantastic effort by the young blues to provide a great game - tremendous spirit won out on the day, and it was great to watch.

With the likes of Fisher, Walker, Simpson and Fev it seems that Parrot (peversely) is right; Carlton have exciting times ahead.

I've got to admit I had a tear in my eye.

After supporting the club for a very long time, I can't remember the last time I felt that way after a H & A game.

I sung that song til they stopped playing it at the Dome but continued it on the way out of the ground and then put it on in my car on the way home!! (much to the dismay of the Melbourne supporters in the carpark) OH BOO F'N HOO!!! LOL

Fantastic win today. All of the boys put 4 quarters of good footy together today and I couldn't be more proud of the way they didn't panic when the Dees got within 2 points. They kept their heads up and kept playing the game their way. Great game by all the boys but in particular 1AW. He could have walked away with Mark of the Year but did the team thing and spoiled the ball. GO THE BAGGERS!!!

It's these types of performances which really make you proud. One of the most pleasing aspects of today's game was the fierce tackling and pressure we applied on Melbourne which, i believe, enabled us to win the game. It's even better to know that they had the heart and belief to hang on when it looked as though Melbourne would burst out of the blocks.

Even if we don't win another game for the remainder of the season i'll still be pleased if this type of performance is displayed in the following games.

Top notch performance guys, and all round team effort.

I sung it as loud and hard as I have since the 99 prelim final. I missed the Round 1 win as I was interstate, saw the Essendon win but yesterday was something else, my voice is shot today I have never been that happy for a home and away win I don't think.
