I think he might have a reasonable year. Reckon once he gets to around 50 games he should be ready to go, not the quality of Thomas but we would pay less than half the price for him.

Yes but who is he going to remove from our 22? Once foley comes back you have Cotchin, lids, axel, Martin, conca, Ellis, grigg, vlaustin, knights, Edwards, jackson, arnott, tuck as mids and I wouldn't put Lucas ahead of any of them outside of arnott who is inside and Jackson who is a tagger.

He would be a speed upgrade on Grigg, but probably not disposal or smarts...yet. Axel unfortunately is getting to a point where he is not going to play a lot, and this would be looking forward to a point where Foley would be retiring. As I said, he could be a good outside mid, certainly not as good as Thomas at this point but this also avoids issues related to salary cap and player losses.

Honestly I don't know why Daisy would even bother coming to Richmond. The idea is nice but there's no reason for him to leave Collingwood unless he wants more money which I don't think we'll give.
