He's an arseh*le. Look what he wrote!
If
Essendon fans keep taking the moral high ground view over Jobe Watson being booed at Subiaco … Then … they seriously need to get off that high horse. Brent Stanton has never forgotten being booed by his own
supporters. Pathetic.

And all the talking on the footy show and the constant loading of bullshit stories.
I know he wrote that a while ago, but screw you anyway.

You'd be hard pressed to find a journo who's been fair and who stays off the attack when there's something similar to this going around.

He'll get his comeuppance, try to ignore him until then.

He did have a complete moment of stupidity on footy classified just then.

GL and Lloydy were discussing our game and mentioned the booing of gus in passing, and Hutchy said something along the lines of 'bit hypocritical after last week', and then they all kinda just went mmm yeah, and Lyon kind of looked down at his running sheet and went to move to the next point, and then Damo, in all of his half man, half chimp glory goes 'yeah, funny after them getting all riled up about Watson last week'.

Cue awkward silence, and you could just see hutchy thinking, 'shit you're an idiot'

Either he wasn't listening, or he doesn't know what hypocritical means

He went from "Essendon players are looking like they are in big trouble", "they are guilty" to "it is looking likely Essendon players will be getting off" during this whole drug saga. His backflip is probably only matched by Fatprick Smith.

A-grade w***er. I hope should we be cleared, this guy will be number 2 in the firing line when we go after these journos (Caro number 1).

Hutchy an idiot as well, telling BJ to get off his high horse over the powerade shower, BJ did it to protect media people and Jobe's collarbone

Also said it was the first time Bellchambers showed something as a forward, clearly he has not watched us this year.

Why is it that they mention Stanton's bronx cheer but not someone like Henderson from Carlton or any other player that's been bronx cheered by their own fans before? Why don't they ever mention that Ablett Jr was a maligned player earlier in his career?

It was a one time incident, the media need to get over it. There's no need to bring it up every time he plays a good game.

Because it was mentioned on BigFooty. We know they get most of their news and discussion topics from here.

Nothing wrong with Hutchy's comments about T-Bell not showing a lot as a forward. In past games, T-Bell has spent more time rucking than Ryder, but has kicked goals when resting forward -But spent the majority of the game in the ruck. It appeared on Sunday that Ryder did more of the rucking than T-Bell.

T-Bell will never be a permanent forward and is unlikely to kick 5 goals in a game again.

How does Powerade affect a broken collarbone.

To be fair Stanton was booed not Bronx cheered.

I don't get why some supporters felt the need to boo Gus, he was a good servant of the club and clearly wasn't getting market value when Goddard came to us. He almost won them the game too...

I cheered him when he played on and missed that goal, agree though, the booing was mindless, Gus was a very loyal servant and deserved better, every club has brainless fans...Note I didn't call them supporters...

I thought every team has supporters that boo a player that leaves their team and goes to another. And as far as I know Jobe didn't leave the eagles to play for us.

I'm not sure its even hypocritical.

Not all booing is the same.

Booing a player who has left your club to play for another club is almost a tradition (not that I'm fully on board with that), and it's understood not to be a real slur on the player's character / integrity / etc.

Booing Jobe after his OTC interview was like holding up signs at the footy saying 'Jobe is a drug cheat'.

Even though I am no fan of Barrett at all, I found Footy Classified much more enjoyable without Caro on deck, although I nearly had to put my foot through the TV in an attempt at removing the mental image of Caro 'sunning herself in Hawaii'.

Ewww...

This statement is factually incorrect. Stanton was never booed, he received a bronx cheer when he was subbed off.

Barrett is a headline grabber that when blood is smelt is more than happy to help stick a knife in to further his cause.

Gus only started getting boos after his altercation with Myers and Bags. On field incidents you're fair game. Jobe's was a totally different situation.

Meh - just ignore the talentless little speck.

Didn't stop Barrett, Sheehan, Roos, Healy, Robbo and even Lloydy (tut tut) from taking the easy route and going on about 'Essendon supporters' doing it (note they didn't say 'to those Essendon supporters' who were booing, nah just chuck us all in the same category.) And as mentioned, I was at the game and didn't notice it towards Gus until he ran in trying to be the tough man against Myers. Bit ironic seeing he made a name for himself at Essendon for diving for frees, going down easily (Jordan Lewis) and not going the hard ball.

I used to love the Footy Show.
Can't watch it anymore knowing its giving this flog more time on the tube...

Yeah I personally didn't boo him, but it only started when he had a crack at Myers.

And honestly I didn't really have a problem with that either. He needed to show his current team mates that he was with them, not us.

Pretty sure it was a Bronx cheer. He got subbed against Gold Coast (?) after doing SFA, but then it turned out he was injured. I can't remember any other time where it happened again.
