i am still writting this with the chance of getting my head bitten off!
i have sat back without comment for how ever long it has been and watched you all get stuck into Daniel Schell. Just cast your minds back to early in the 2002 season when he played some fabulous games including mark of the week (nearly of the year) and his match winning performance in both of the Brisbane games!! Unfortunatley last season he was plagued by injuries... so please just give him time to get over his current injuries and please let him show you what he is made of!!

Far too soft and lazy for AFL football on the evidence I ahve seen so far

I hope he comes good though.

I have much more hope for Trent Hentschel who looks like a real player.

Jars458 has this totally correct.

We can only go by what we see and what we have seen of Schell has been p*ss poor. A soft footballer with no second effort and a terrible kicking action.

Like Jars says, we'd love him to come good. But you wouldn't want to bet your hard earned on it.

On the other hand, Hentschel has great promise. A good mark whether high over the top of the pack or contested, he gives 2nd and 3rd efforts. IMO only a broken ankle in last year's pre-season and a sore back this year have prevented him from making a real impact so far.

Hentschel is the one that my money is on.
