Unknown? He went pick 10 and he was extremely talented. If not for Achilles injuries, he’d have been a real player.

This was before he was drafted, though, and he was very defensive and he gave very detailed "updates" as if it was the primary source.

When someone gives updates like that i usually just assume they're making things up rather than having actual info

Just the way they're so defensive about an unknown player came across very personal, so I would have assumed it's them or a relative.

Yeah, maybe, but it's that not unusual for people to get hugely defensive over people they've never met

Usually over well known things, though. It's usually personal if it's somebody or something unknown they're defending.
