Its a sad thing to come to terms with the passing of a footballer and good bloke, Danny Hulm premiership captain of the Central Districts Football Club.
Although i am a Glenelg supporter, as a Police constable at the Elizabeth Police Station Danny was responsible for mixing with the youth of the district and setting a outstanding role model.Truly a great sadness will be felt in the northern communities.
Rest in peace Danny Hulm.

I hadn't heard anything about it until now - I just visited the Centrals website, and apparently he was hit and killed by a train in London...

I'm just in shock

I honestly thought he was an arseh*le and a thug, but his record as beign the first premiership captain of Centrals will go down in history forever. Plus the work he did for Centrals behind the scenes was second to none. Its sad to see any footballer die, and this came as a huge shock. Condolences to everyone who knew him.

I am still sad about the news.
He impressed me as a leader and a tough hard footballer.
All clubs would have loved him in our teams.
He was so impressive when he accept the premiership cup. Very sad day.

Danny Hulm was the the most fantastic and genuine person I've ever known, he was my friend for 15 years, and I'll treasure every moment we spent together, those after grandfinal parties with the Clarence side, seems like a lifetime ago.

To Edith, Trevor and to my pal Wally, I love you guys.

it is a realt tragedy to hear that this has happened to such a great footballer. i saw Daniel play one game, and that was the grand final. He was an excellent player, a fantastic captain, and a great guy. He is a cradit ot only to the game, but also to the Central Districts football club.

Deep condolences to the Hulm family and to the Central Districts Football Club. he will be sorely missed
RIP

Hardly the thread to continue a petty personal argument. Show some respect for the man.

I was at last years Grand Final with BluesGirl and although not Centrals supporters we enjoyed a great game.

Such a shame when a young bloke loses his life.

RIP Danny.

Grow up ! This is a post to pay respects not start more of this crap, I would know more about the league than you anyway

Do you people have no compassion, I'm sure this thread was created to savour the memory of a person who was a great friend and a hero of Centrals, not to start a slanging match between posters..... please have a little heart and take this petty behavious somewhere else!!

What the **** has that got to do with ANYTHING?!?!

This post is about Danny Hulm's memory! - it has nothing to do with Sturt's form - neither did his comment! When will you learn!

After how Daniel Hulm was killed, that last comment was not even partly amusing, I know a lot of Dan's friends including myself, are reading these messages and to make a joke about another person being hit by a train, just isn't funny.....

Appalling...........wonder how many smart ars*s will state similar 'jokes' this season, and then whine about vicious Centrals hooligans when they get the sh*t kicked out of them. Pathetic.
