Has been delisted by Richmond. Is he worth picking up in the PSD? What are his strength's, weaknesses etc?

He played 11 games for Coburg in the seniors and 3 for their reserves. Not up to AFL level and there are better players out there. Not worth picking up IMO.

i'd be tempted for a rookie list spot. spent last year battling hip injuries thats why he would have played VFL reserves. worth a shot if he can get his body right.

dunno if i'd pick him up... but irony if we do considering he got picked up with the pick we gave them for ottens and then he'll be at geelong anyway.

I'd be tempted for a rookie list spot or get him down to do a pre-season with the aim of picking him up in the PSD.

He was a top 20 draft pick i recall as well, another Terry/Miller blunder.

Could make somebody very happy, obviously has a little bit of talent, and was Pick 12 back in 2004. Worth a punt in my opinion.

He must be crap if they took Adam Thomson over him.

Thomson hasn't put on any size since Port drafted him.

A bit hard when the club thinks you're complaining too much about a minor hip injury and forces you to work through the pain resulting in a more serious injury requiring major surgery effectively ruining 2 and a half years of his career!

Danny was impressive in his 1st and 2nd seasons.

Displayed genuine matchwinning abilities against Geelong in his 2nd year before the injuries hit.

ive kept my eye on Danny this year and he has surprised me a lot with his run out of the back line and his neat skills. i was pretty gutted when he got delsited instead of the hack pettifer and i reckon he was just coming into some good luck with unjuries and was pushing for selection.

it was stupid for richmond to let him go and i encourage another club to take him as a rookie maybe because with his potential you cant go passed him

The Hawks are welcome to him, in 12 months time it will mean they wont have to cut someone with the right attitude to make it as an AFL player.
