I went to the movies tonight at Vic Gardens. Danny was there with Cleve Hughes and Luke McGuane. Has anyone actually been to training? He may not need to be on the permission list given he's been on or list previously?

I think he does, Tom Hilsop is on Essendon's permission to train list.

When he was drafted he was picked up as a skinny kid with good skills. He managed a few games for the Tigers and looked good in moments. 2007 saw Danny drop of the map, the club thought he was slacking off due to some small issues early on. It turned out (good work again RFC) that he had a hip injury.
2008 saw him injured early on but came back to play some good games late in the season for Coburg. Lets put it this way I was one of many posters on this board upset to see him delisted this year. Made worse for the fact that Pettifer is still to this stage on the list and Hawks wanted to trade for him last year.

His kicking is in the same class as a Hodge/Cotchin etc, he's about 182cm and was a skinny player who put on muscle this year. His natural game is as an inside midfielder who plays HFF or BP. I have seen him play about 10 games for Coburg and he definitely has some mongrel about him, he doesn't play skinny that's for sure. His problem is, to now he has been like a Nathan G. Brown type of player who only gets 16 possies a week (but tackles).

I was one of the many who was cut to see him go, he got like 35 possessions in his last game for Coburg I believe (I didn't see it though) and finished the year in great form and by all reports pain-free.

He had genuine injury excuses and in his first 2 years displayed moments of brilliance as well as one great 4 quarter game.

Was a sprinter as a kid too btw, so obviously very fast.

he looked like next year was his year
ten buck hawks pick him up having him running off halfback and ends up being an absolute gun and we misss out again
