Regardless of what i think of him as a coach, i think he sounds like a really decent person, and is a credit to him how he has handled the last couple of weeks. He, like all of us, must be at his wits end, although he has always been upbeat.

Has never tried to pass the buck for the team's performances, and i bet he would like Miller to take over the press conferences again, but he has fronted every week.

With his daughter being very sick over the last couple of months, shows a lot of strength in the person to be able to cope with that, as well as what the footy world has dished up.

I'm not gonna be a hypocrite and say i want him to continue to coach us, but I do admire his never give in attitude and wish him the best of luck for the future.

I have no problem with danny as a person he is a qulaity bloke but the poor bloke was 6th in line to coach and he came with enthusiasm and not much else.
He surrounded himself i believe with a pathetic list of support coaches, no one to really confer with that has done it at the highest level....crocker very dissapointing.
just yesterday i wrote him a letter and said for him to keep his head up and that we are right behind you, what really got to me was the attacks on his family as i am a family man this made me sick being os. If the players do not realise anyting else it is his legacy to try and instil some strong values for us to live by.
The best we can do is support him. You do not have to be enistein to work out he will be demoted next year. If we sacked him now we would have to pay out his contract. Yeah we have a lot of smash to do that thanks casey you tool. This is actually a good space to be in. We are a rabble but if we take a breath, unearth a few kids, take our medicine and join together as one we can pick up a few kids in the draft, get a quality coach to really have a look at us over the year, clean out the duds (see ya Bowie-is he on a 2 year deal?) and hit it running next year. I have said this is a year of pain. The only way is up.
