Inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame. Legend, national treasure and one of the true nice guys of Australian music. Immensely talented.

A member of one of the best and most under-rated Australian bands of the 70s. A bunch of hard working, talented and utterly professional musos who are under-rated by far too many because of the material they recorded and the fact that the girls loved them so much. :D

But they were awesome live (I can personally attest to that) and supported venues all around the country. They did the "Around Australia in 80 Days" tour at the peak of their popularity - at the rate of pretty much a show a day. Bands don't do that these days - haven't done it for years.

Totally biased of course (as the user name would imply!), but unapologetic in that bias. The guy deserves the honour and still works his butt off. Probably 2 shows a week. He could ease up but he loves it too much. Two of the other Sherbet members are still heavily involved in Australian music too.

The seventies was such a great time in Australian music. I was so privileged to be part of it.
