Portugese sporting import P. Davenport has reportedly been deported by airport authorities in Port-of-Spain. Mr. Davenport, an important member of Portobello Road Soccer Club, is purported to have been a supporter of disgraced transport opportunist Porter Portsmouth. Mr. Portsmouth, misreported last week as purportedly importing disproportionately large quantities of portmanteaus and sportswear, also has reportedly important ties to Cabinet Ministers of various portfolios.
When informed of the reported deportation of Davenport, Portsmouth is reported to have said "This opportune portayal of Mr. Davenport and myself as having connections to illegal imports and exports, is both unsupportable, and extremely unsporting".
Davenport's passport was reportedly seized by a porter at Port-of-Spain Airport. At the time of the seizure, he is reported to have been opening the port door to an import-export shipping container.
Port-of-Spain police report finding huge quantities of stolen imports inside, including portmanteus, portapaks, sportswear, portable DVD players, portabellos, portals, portcullises, portaits and crates of Port Adelaide Premiership Port.
