I hope you Cats are good to him!
He was my"project player" last year on the Eagles board. I really rate him as a footballer and was very sorry to see him go. He played for my team (East Perth) and was a premiership player and very popular with the supporters.

Best of luck David.

Thanks.

Rapt to have him at the club, especially given how cheaply we got him.

I'm expecting big things from David, hopefully he can deliver.

I was really pleased to hear that we picked up David Haynes in the trading period. Haynes is a local boy as well, so I'd expect him to fit in nicely around the club.

I miss him, but I'm sure he'll be a great asset for you guys.

I think he was traded because with the tall forward line emerging, and his inconcistency, but I'm sure he'll be great back home.(and be sorry for leaving when he gets thrashed by the eagles at subi!!! LOL!!!)

West Coast didn't want to lose David Haynes, but had no choice because he wanted to come back home.

A question for fellow Cat fans, is David Haynes capable of holding down a spot in our forward line? Is he going to become our second Kent Kingsley?

Personally I was dissapointed with our trade period. I can only see Haynes becoming a-bit player at best. He is barely a KP size, and plays more on the flanks. Did we really need to recruit him? I would be happy if we had gotten him along with someone else (The big-name player we searched for). But coming out with only him and Loats is abit disappointing.
