i love the movie Lost Highway & have just finished watching his new movie Mulholland Drive....i will watch it again when i'm sober, but somehow i don't think that will help me understand it

Blue Velvet was trippy.

I think you need something stronger than bourbon when watching any of David Lynch's work.

Eraserhead: The third weirdest movie of all time.

Beaten only by "Tetsuo: Iron Man" and "El Topo".

Cronenberg's "Videodrome" and "The Naked Lunch" are almost on par with these .

No point in taking mood-altering substances before any of these movies. You're not going to appreciate, enjoy or understand them any more or less.
