David Wojcinski...

Yeah well I've said on here before that I think he is just outside our 22 but considering how :D:D:D:D poor the team is travelling it is beyond stupid calling him up for one game and then dropping when he doesn't perform when a lot of others are doing sfa week in week out and keep their name on the teamsheets. Meh he will probably come straight back in next week when Callan gets the same treatment.

Thankyou for dropping him Bomber...

For all the reasons I have recently posted...

I would be suprised if he is on our list come the end of 2006.
are you 100% sure he is dropped?

I like him, he will still be playing for the hopes in '07. He's played half a dozen games after coming back from a season on the sidelines.. be realistic people. it will take him half a year to get back to where he was.

But he was never that good...

Yeah, he has been omitted.

DW, has a massive upside, if we were to delist him one year after a reco, then I would be outraged. Give him a go, a reckon this time next year, he'll be in our top 10 players.

Poor move IMO...should let him string a few games together in the seniors to show they have faith in him after the injury. Playing him one week and dropping him the next is gonna do SFA for his confidence.

I would have dropped Kelly instead of Wocjinski. Anyway, we'll find out tomorrow if it made a difference.

I highly doubt he will be out of the team for an extended period. What people forget is Bomber would be directing Monica to run the lines and back himself. Sure he got caught a few times on the weekend but Bomber would have been encouraged by the signs of him attempting to get his running game back.

He was one of few players willing to back themselves and have a dip on the weekend. I don't think this should be punished to harshly but i do agree he should head back to the ressies for a spell.

There are many other people of the list that should go before him.

No, he only won most improved in 2004 and then did his knee the following year in 2005.

And now he is coming in for a game, not getting game time then being dropped.

So, we go to the question:

did the pole not sign your lil bib or big m lil league footy magic with all you hatred for him?

and what are your qualifications for desiginating the lace out delivery?

paging planet hoff.....

we need to unite to destroy this chapmanmagic32 and his toolish ways.

it seems he would prefer cameron lings helicopter chip kicks over someone running the lines with a bit of confidence.

I don't hate the guy, I just don't rate him very highly as a footballer...

What are you on about DF?

Last time I checked, it was okay to have an opinion.

Maybe watch Wojcinski more closely DF instead of going into a frenzy about how quick he is and how much of an asset he can be...

Lets put this to rest right now. As of this minute, you are no longer permitted to have an opinion, got it? :thumbsu:

it is okay to have opinion, but to slate one guy as having poor disposal and getting caught is outrageous. david johnson does the exact same things, i dont read you calling for his blood. wil slade gives away 50m willy nilly your not calling for his delisting. cameron ling puts his teammates in danger with his disposal but again your not calling for his blood. and thats just a short list, could easily be added to.

ive watched him very closely actually as well as the team and remember back to when he played run with roles and back half and was an integral part of the squad.

if he is not there at seasons end it will be due to another team trading for him.

Is it really?

Do you hear me praising Slade? I've probably been one of his critics too, especially in the free kick department.

Maybe because Ling has been our best performer in the past 4 years with Scarlett. He deserves some slack. Alot of you have short memories.

ive watched him very closely actually as well as the team and remember back to when he played run with roles and back half and was an integral part of the squad.

See, that is your opinion. I'm not going to have a go at it, like some people have about mine.

if he is not there at seasons end it will be due to another team trading for him.

I probably agree there, alot of clubs are attracted by the pace factor.

What is wrong with what I have said?

i dont deny you your opinion, its just that whole teams disposal and decision making isnt flash at the moment but you have managed to single out one guy. its really weird.

ling is horrible at the moment. i remember him being a good negater but never a good playmaker. im not calling for him to be dropped or anything though. his disposal is awful, his decision making has been poor, he isnt quick and he looks very much overweight. i think your rationale is great clubman = great player.

what about shannon byrnes?? are you critical of him? do you cringe when he misses easy or shots or gets caught?/

Sorry if it has come out that way. There are a few in our team guilty of it. However, Wojcinski is one that always stick out in my mind.

Ling is the fittest player at Geelong. You don't necessarily have to be quick and an athlete to be fit.

Byrnes is guilty of it at times, but he played quite well last week.

LMFAO ... Why on earth would he not be in the hoops???

Bomber has had 12 months out of the game (just like Nathan Brown) ... and as expected both are stuggling.

He is way down on fitness, and the only way he's going to get it back is game time ................ which begs the question why the hell would bomber bring someone who needs match-fitness into the team and then proceed to sit him on the bench for over half the game?

in the short term ok, but long term this is just prolonging the time its going to take for bomber to reach his peak again.

We will not see the best of David Wojcinski in 2006, but my God stop making these rediculous statements that he'll be lucky to retain his spot - thats just crap.

Officially Bomber (Wojcinski's) number 1 fan - Stoney.

Let me get this straight, you think other clubs attracted to Bomber because of the 'pace factor' but we're not?

You talk about short memories, what about the bleeding obvious that our side lacks pace ... hence we will probably trade an under-performing player who lacks in this department - just an idea - i cant see bomber being as stupid to further exploit our team's lack of pace by trading one of our few genuine pacers.

Wow, I didn't realise you were his biggest fan until that last line! :D

I've said it so many times that 'Yes, I know it takes a long time to re-cover from a knee injury'. The thing is, he was never that important to our side and he was never that good.

If we want to win premierships, guys like Wojcinski won't last. We can't afford to have guys who run, take a bounce, then think "Oh bugger, what do I do next?" and get hammered holding the ball.

I have seen Wojcinski do it so many times...
