Let me get this straight, you think other clubs attracted to Bomber because of the 'pace factor' but we're not?

You talk about short memories, what about the bleeding obvious that our side lacks pace ... hence we will probably trade an under-performing player who lacks in this department - just an idea - i cant see bomber being as stupid to further exploit our team's lack of pace by trading one of our few genuine pacers.

Yes, clubs will be attracted to it. We shouldn't be because Wojcinski's skills are below average.

Our side may lack pace, but we also need smart footballers.

Wojcinski won't be traded - sure everyone would love to have supreme players who are quick, evasive, defensive, offensive, super skilled - but the truth of it all is everyone has weaknesses.

Bomba's is his skills i agree, but he is better than Callen, David Johnson, and on par with Hunt in the small defenders ... which means he'll be in our 22 for a few yrs to come.

3 tall defenders, Scarlo, Harls, Egan
1 middle sized, Milburn
2 smalls Wojcinski, Hunt

its our best back 6 - none will be going anywhere this trade period.

Ling is the fittest player at Geelong. You don't necessarily have to be quick and an athlete to be fit.

Ling has the best Stamina at Geelong. Evidently, he always wins the Beeptest. This would indicated that your old man would struggle to be physically fitter than the sunburnt rooster.

There is a big different between being fit and match fit!

Hunt > Wojcinski (despite Hunt's slow start to 2006)

Both are suspect under real pressure, but Hunt's long-kicking gives him the nod.

Callan will be a better footballer than Wojcinski, and must be played ahead of him at all times IMO.

Exactly. Ling is the fittest player at Geelong. He was close to cracking 20 in the beep test a couple years back.

nothing taken personally, it just seems you have a vendetta against the poor guy.

he may have poor disposal but its a character of nearly the whole team. thats my point, i dont think we many players that can hit a target lace out. but its like some big hallejuah moment that he gets dropped for you like he is the bane of all geelongs problems.

and as for ling having the best beep test, he has to have stamina, he is chasing tail all day long. and i change my previous post to my ole man being able to lead him everywhere even with his bung hip up until lings superior stamina takes over. ling would be huffing away telling someone else to pick him up.
