Monday week Davis Cup ticket's go on sale and the other half is wanting to attend. So I made a price enquiry. drum roll please............ $313.00 per person before everyone jumps up and down this is for the three day's, ut you can't buy a day pass? Can anyone fill me in? The things we resort to when footys not on, may'be knitting could be next!!!

The type of people that can afford that aren't the type of people who will create a great atmosphere.

I was gonna come over for the Davis Cup but when I read this prices there was no way I was gonna pay that. You could practically go to the Australian Open every day for that price!

So Australian Open it will be for me :D

My friends and I were all expecting the cost to be around $300.

It's a hell of a lot of money but to see the Aussies win the Davis Cup would be one of the highlights of my life and I wouldn't miss it for anything.

3 days of great tennis. Should be unbelievable.

Mcchawk,

It is disappointing to hear that no single day passes will be available. Maybe they will sell the 3 day passes first and then offer the remaining tickets seperately.

I read Saturday's paper and scalpers are willing to sell day passes. (rather noble of them since GF ticket's are huge money) for what I thought was reasonable round $60. I will never have a bad word to say about scalper's till say Septmeber!!!:p

As are the promoters if they consider that a reasonable price!!!

I was all keyed up to go, but for that price Tennis Australia can stick it up their racquet holders!

What a joke, all we will have is 15,000 people in suits - yeah great atmosphere.

I'm really dark about that, was looking forward to it.
