Settle. He is a premiership player at the Pies. It doesn't mean he didn't love the Lions or his team mates.

Given pick 18 is largely useless to us this year and the picks in the 40's almost do the same job..................(academy points)

People get way to caught up in draft picks. A late first rounder is hit and miss. Even top tend are hit and miss. Look at all the early picks that get traded for a bag a peanuts only a few years later. For every degoey there is a freeman.

Give me a few good years out of a star like beams when we are in the window ahead of a kid who might take 3 or 4 years to have an impact or be a complete bust.

With the points that came back it’s next years first rounder. Let’s just hope that’s the last pick in round one.

Beams is back!, this makes me as psyched as when he first extended his contract in 2012. Who needs key position defenders when you’ve got Beams, Sidebottom, Pendlebury and Treloar getting 150 possies per game pumping it forward.

I'm excited about his return, but I thought the video message was hollow considering he was praising Brisbane and his teammates on their best and fairest night only a few weeks back.

It might be an unpopular opinion here, but I can understand Lions supporters being pissed off about the video message. Anyway it's good to have him back and hopefully he can be a two time premiership player this time next year :thumbsu:
