Any fans of this band?

I know they're basically a meme these days, but Sunbather remains an awesome album with some of the best moments I have heard in music. The other LP's are pretty good, and have some decent songs, but seem pretty disjointed. There's just way too many ideas and transitions, and it's hard to even keep track of where the song is at at times. Honeycomb is the perfect personification of that.

Blackgaze in general is a cool idea for a genre, but it's definitely more on the shoegaze side than the black metal side, vocals aside. I'm still waiting for Alcest to hit me too, after being promised they were the superior band.



The last two minutes of this are incredible. Elevates the album a fair bit after meandering in the middle.

Never heard of them before...

I really like everything in that song apart from the vocals. I don't really dig full on metal style vocals, I generally need at least some melody in there to mix it up a bit.

I'll check em out though.
