Dealing With Trolls

Howdy fellow suffering members,

It has occurred to me that the few highly boring 13 years olds who like to troll here aka Davo Dog & Yeltsa, care nothing for good football debate only wish to provoke some response through their poorly researched babble.

As none of them are ever banned from hassling us, maybe we should have our own "flog list" and anytime they post here we reply with a designated auto response aka "YOU ARE A MORON", "YOUR HEAD IS STILL FIRMLY WEDGED IN OWN PROSTATE" etc,

In the end their clear lack or intelligence or even remote hint of humour doesn't bother at me all, I just hate to even slightly satisfy these arses by trying to reason and reply to their drivel with logic when all they want to do is ******** people off.

Anyway just a thought, bring on those draft picks,

maybe ignore them completely would be a good idea. i like to give them bad reputation points, but that is only for my own satisfaction, they probly dont care. but yeah either just a 'you idiot' or completely ignore them would be a good idea. every response they get puts them at the top of the thread list.

Either way it would be nice to get some unity on this and start hunting down the davo's on this site in packs.

The upside to posting a designated abuse post for each individual troll is that we all get to pool our idea's in coming up with some creative abuse or sarcasm aka Punt_Road_Roars sugguestions.

It is really simple. Completely ignore the trolls! Let the drivel pass without comment and it will die a natural death.

I have long since learnt that banning doesn't work. All it means is the user comes back under a new alias and we start the dance again.

FWIW, alstey has been banned from this board. It probably took less then a few days before we were infested by yetsla.

So don't get fired up at the crap they post. Not worth it.

Just chill.

I am not sure if this option is still available, but you used to be able to set up an 'Ignore' list. This may also be an option.

Far more effective than starting a flame war!
