I hope and think we'll keep him because once johnson retires he'll slip right into his role ( no i dont mean captain) as a run with negating midfielder

I hope we keep him but I have a feeling that whako Jacko is preferred which may mean he is used as bait...has a good CV, avg 17 possies ea time he plays at senior level

Every club needs 2 taggers. Polo and Jacko. Both very important to our 22

I was a huge wrap for him but the more i see him the less i like. Not amazingly fast, not very strong, not great skills. Only really has his stamina which isnt as useful nowadays with the heavy bench rotations.

Would be about our 10th-15th best midfielder at this stage after deledio, tuck, foley, johnson, white, edwards, connors, jackson, cotchin, tambling as well as possibly after coughlan, meyer, collins...

Don't agree. If he had as much game time as Tambo, I'd be confident Polo would as vital as Lids to our midfield. Jacko has had the same treatment as Polo and he's a year older. I'm sure Polo will become a regular next year

I hope so. I still get props for telling all my mates as soon as he was named for his first match that he was going to get 3 votes...none of them had even heard of him. But back then I thought he was an athletic, tough inside midfielder...now I've resigned him to the fate of a tagger. I guess I'm just disappointed...i expected him to be the star of the '04 draft...even above lids!
