This kid is my personal choice for pick #36. Over 205cm tall makes him a great target along with his fantastic mark and physical presence. Plays in the forward line and to me looks ready-made for AFL. I saw him play a few times during the year and saw him when he played very well in the preliminary final against the Northern Knights.

I personally think that he is a great player and one of the guys who has gone under the radar this year. I also think he is better than most of the guys who will get taken around there. Would provide another tall target with Fevola, having Fisher and Betts crumbing the loose ball. We have a good forward line but i feel that we need to draft a tall target to cut down on our reliance on Fevola which has cost us in a few games.

Has anyone else seen him play? If so what do you think about him and should we chase him with our second pick?

Cheers.:thumbsu:

Anything that could help us in the ruck would give a mighty big helping hand, and I don't think you have to be a rocket scientist to realise that a 205cm fella is going to potentially give you a hand in the ruck.

True that. But with his marking ability he has the potential to be a killer forward.

Saw him quite a bit during the year for Calder, and I too was quite impressed by the big man. What struck me was his kicking action and accuracy for a big man. Almost Brad Ottens like when he didn't miss a thing when he was still at Punt Rd.

Will entirely depend on who we select at #1, and I certainly wouldn't be disappointed to get say a Cotchin/Putt combo as our first 2 selections in the ND.

Just going by what i've read elsewhere, I think we'd be pretty lucky if this guy falls all the way to pick 36. If he does, then he sounds great. Fantastic height, I wonder if he could be turned into a ruckman.

Here Here!

However i think if we draft Kreuzer he will be more suited to a KPF role meaning that we may overlook Putt. But whoever we choose i can't wait until the start of 2008!

I think he'll be thereabouts. There are a few ruckman around that might just go around that 30-50 range in the draft - Renton, Putt, Sullivan and Simpson.

He'll be around that range but i really hope we can pick him up as i feel he will be a great prospect.

Kreuzer and Putt would be overkill IMO. I think we might get a bloke e rate that we are pleasantly surprised he falls to #36, and I think at #46 there still might be better available. Having said that I have also seen a bit of development in Putt throughout the year which is promising. He was always pretty impressive when he bent over to pick the ball up for a guy of 205cm, but his overhead marking really improved towards the end of the year.....with a bit of bulking up and associated confidence I think he could be worth a punt for the right club.

can he play as a KPB possibly or even like a mr fix it and play at both ends. A versitile 205cm+ monster sounds good
