Dear Jade,

In order to make the reminder of this year watchable for us wounded tigers please ensure the following.

• Of the grandpa brigade, tell Bowden, Simmonds and Johnson sayonara. Cuz, cho and browny can stay as their impact on the youngens will be a positive one. Sorry Bowden, have loved your work but you won't take us forward.
• Tell Raines to handball it for the rest of the year so we can trick the Gold Coast into thinking he ight be worth a 3rd round draft pick.
• Ruck Angus & Patto all year to see what they're made of.
• Play Daniel Connors and JON and inform them that they are walking the green mile.
• Get Post into the team A.S.A.P
• Make a decision on Schulz and Hughes based on insider knowledge. Cull one and tell the other it's there last chance. cannot carry them both.
• At some stage this season please start with Cuz, Cotch and Lids in the guts so I can get my first football mongrel for the season.
• Give Post and the Goo a run up forward, worth a shot, nothing to lose.
• Keep Collins and Nahas as our crumbing forwards.
• Tell Cotchin he will be our Captain in two years time.
• Keep playing Tambling in the midfield, one of the few shining lights this season.
• Inform Daniel Jackson that he can't break tackles so stop trying. He has plenty to offer but this shocking trait is holding him back.
• Put Shane Edwards on a deep fried mars bar diet and get him his confidence back. IMO the player who has gone the furtherest backwards on the list.
• Try Thommo and Hislop so at leats we know.
• Develop one of our midfielders (Thommo, White etc) into being an accountable small defender or tell the recruiting staff that this is their number 1 priority for next season. We can't keep being molested by small forwards,and keep playing unaccountable short people with poor skills in this position.
• Put Mcmahon in a cage with a possum, if he beats the possum play him, if the possum prevails bring out the curtain.

Agree with all of that except Connors. He's a required player. Both he and JON ae a bit lazy but JON is lazy and unskilled.
I'd have White as our small defender. Thompson is too slow for the role.
As for McMahon, I'd have my money on the possum.

You need to get to a few Burgers games or watch them on telly. What you have described is exactly the opposite. Conners is highly skilled but just cant seem to apply himself. JON is neither lazy or unskilled but needs to be played to develop awareness and decision making. Both very frustrating but still kids and a long long way from where our major problems are.
