Norfs list isn’t bottom calibre anymore. They managed some wins last year and should trend up in 2026
Essendon has probably the best youf in the league and, given a decent run without injuries, aren’t bottom material
Tuggers will beat the blosers, Melbourne and West coast. They’re a rabble but not THE rabble.
And then we have west coast v dees. I just can’t see where any dees wins are going to come from, excluding Gawn single handedly winning a handful solo. Which to be fair is a risk here given the only Dees WCE game next year is in Melbourne (but at Marvel looooool).
Dees:
- finished 2025 2-10, only beating west coast and Norf, and
- then lost Trac, Spargo, McVee and Oliver (lol), and
- have some shit cultural governance issues, and
- only get to play west coast once next year, doubling up on Essendon, Hawthorn, Bullflogs, Fremantle, Richmond, Gold Coast

While I don't disagree with the general premise that Melbourne will be bad next year, worse than Norf? Fair go, mate. Trading them Charlie Spargo instantly makes us better than them!
