Just wondering if any Bigfooty posters are currently serving in the defence force or are planning on doing so, or have previously served?

If so, What specific jobs do you do or are thinking of doing?

My best mate started in the Navy (IN THE NAVY!...) last week, earning a diploma (or whatever) as an Electrician. Sounds interesting except for the bum raping that goes on

Ive served in the army and am currently in the Navy.

Like any jobs there are good times and bad times.Ive seen the world and met a lot of good people.Most of the time if Im alongside there are good hours,get to do pt all the time and the money is decent.

Recommend it for someone not sure what they are doing or want to get a trade.It can be a good stepping stone.
