Looked the goods i thought, has matured alot i think he's gonna become an all time tiger by the time he is finished, can'
t wait to see him perform this year and hey, hows the HAIR

I didnt like his game, 1st half he was soundly thrashed by Ling although i loved when he took the ball in full flight and went through the centre like a jet, 2nd half showed some class by going forward and kicking 3.

yeh keep putting him on half back flanks im sure that will improve his development

he is our number one midfielder who can take a grab up forward and rip teams apart

use him properly please

He needs to do that a lot more. That was great stuff, probably the match highlight on our part.

Play him in the middle and rest him up forward 'cause his pace off the mark is awesome :thumbsu:

can anyone get footage of that stream through the middle of the ground it was absolutly electric.

Deledio has all the athletic tools a modern players needs. Speed, strength, a very versatile height, and more speed.

At the moment he is still learning the game. Everything about him suggests he aspires to elite heights ala Judd, Buckley etc. This is a trait that has not been around the RFC for many decades hopefully it will start rubbing of on more of the kids.

Watching him closely one gets the impression that he is slightly hesitant to make a mistake. He occasionally lacks the confidence to really run the gauntlet and back himself. Unlike Raines who definitely had his share of being pinned last year, Deledio is more reticent to be as bold. Occasionally he gets mentally trapped in trying to muscle-off his tagger as opposed to burning him off.

I think that in 2007 a midfield/resting forward role is the natural progression to his development. He needs to play a freelance role in the forward line given more licence to create his own space and then back himself.
