Credit to the Essendon board for giving me the idea to make this thread. Basically just post all the of worst/delusional posts about the Swans across BigFooty in this thread. It should fill up pretty quickly.

I'll start off with this one from the Adelaide board in their thread "2013 Predictions".

Sydney (9th) Last year I predicted Geelong to miss the top 8 on the back of their players being on the decline through age, I wasnt too far wrong that time and I was ridiculed for doing that but in the end wasnt too far wrong. Same deal for sydney this year. While goodes was out they were a lot crapper. Their players were barely being held together by tape at the end of the GF. I reckon the damage they did to their bodies to get the ultimate prize will show this year. They still relied heavily on Goodes, Okeefe, Bolton in that GF, they dont have a new guard coming through an carrying the load ala Danger and Sloane so I think their midfield will drop and so will they.

I don't even know where to begin with this really.

I think this is a great idea, but really, sometimes, dealing with other fans' delusional grasp of what we're about just makes you drift even further from some of those ideals you had about the innate humanity and potential and goodness of every other person on the planet.

hence the in the wings. Most could be at the least thrown in for 2-3 games. It is more so that tgey could be thrown in for a crack and possibly play firsts. Look the moat likely to play games i. the future out of tge untried lot

Yes because Bolton had such a massive impact in that game

On a completely unrelated note, just stumbled across this - it's the last sentence in Hanners' main wikipedia write up;
