Is derek rucker the biggest Mercenary in Australian sport.?
He always speaks about his desire to win a championship,but everytime his contract runs out he runs off to the highest bidder.since joining the league in 1990 he has played for brisbane,Newcastle,Townsville,west sydney and now back to brisbane.
In my humble opinion this is why the NBL has such problems with its salary-cap,cause money hungry players like Rucker dont have any loyalty and will just hold their team to ransom.I know he has a family to feed but I reakon he is just a cancer on the game.
