The Blooz are in one of the most precarious situations I can remember an AFLM team being in during my lifetime. And this includes Fitzroy and the Hawks/Dees merger.

With Tassie joining in 2028 and able to trade future picks THIS YEAR, theres THREE compromised drafts ahead.

What a great time to ship out their 2025 first rounder to Hawthorn.

Bottoming out now will lock the Baggers into years of misery. The draft’s about to get thinner, and they’ve got no lifeline. Besides sacking Vossy.

Sound familiar? Let’s rewind to when GWS and Suns expanded the AFLM in 2011–2012, sucking up picks and leaving some clubs stuck in the gutter.

Melbourne were a trainwreck—4 wins in 2011, 4 in 2012, 2 in 2013. Bottom four three years straight while GWS nabbed 11 of the top 20 picks in 2011 alone. Didn’t play finals again till 2018.

The Doggies bottomed out with 5 wins in 2011, and it took them 4 years to find finals again.

Carlton could have another decade ahead of bottom to middle wilderness.

Tassie are not coming into the comp any time soon.. If it's not cancelled out right, the Devil's won't be entering the league until well after 2030 cause those cheapskate bastards are too skint to put a roof on their stadium.

The other 18 clubs are moving in to cancel Tassie's licence and i couldn't be more delighted

Big lols Tinpot Tassie.

Bum of a state that wants to free load off the rest of us.

Why don't they just borrow Port Adelaide's tarps? Or will they be needed for the next few years?

Bum of a state that wants to free load off the rest of us.

They really are the St Kilda of Australian states
