In follow up to the other thread i started the other day, about my computer problems, it obviously hasnt been fixed yet.

Now my question, what would be the best diagnostic tool to run in the background, that would monitor system resources, CPU heat, virtual mem etc etc and have an event log of some sort so i can work out why this is happening?????

For those of you that havent seen the original thread it can be found here

Motherboard Monitor (MBM5) has long been regarded as the monitor of choice, and its freeware.

However the bloke behind it has decided to pull the pin on it for various reasons. However it will still be fine for pretty much every motherboard up until a month or two ago.

Maybe I should have said every motherboard after the commodore 64;)

Had one until recently. :D Still got the computer cassette recorder.
I'll have you know I upgraded to a Pentium - only about 7 years ago.
