Like a lot of people the first thought that came into my mind when I saw Hird name umpire Scott MacLaren on TFS was
PREMEDITATED.

The second thought was SHEEDY has been consulted on this - at the very least. The word COLLUSION also came into my mind.

Then when Hird was fined $20,000 and elected himself as the AMBASSODOR FOR UMPIRES I thought YEP it's a scam allright.

The Sydney game only served to reinforce that opinion.

That's what I think and I reckon there would be hundreds out there who would agree that KEVIN CHEATY was in the mix somewhere.

Anyway, if I've learned anything in my life it's that THE TRUTH is like cream in a bucket of milk - it will eventually rise to the surface.

Be as snide as you like Essendon tossers but the reality is the rug has been pulled on your scam.

The interest in MacPies thread yesterdays was huge and just about everyone was drawing the same conclusion about your cheating ways.

Which is great because from now on the scrutiny of umpiring in all Essendon games is going to be intense.

By the way any one see Baldy Bartlett on White Line Fever last night? He had come to the same conclusion about you cheats.

The Sydney Swans have had the better of the Umps up North for just about ever (I will provide stats if req'd). They come down to Melbourne and have a count of 21-19 against them and cry like there is no tomorrow.

Essendon's style of play has brought that about over the last however many years.

Now they haven't changed their style at all, but they have had a public sook, and suddenly the free-kick count is going their way. Are you surprised that people are a tad cynical?

actually very interesting that critics of the bummers $20k sweetheart deal are springing up everywhere - on Bigfooty and the media. Bummer know alls here would have you believe its just me but there seems to be a groundswell on this one. Hopefully it will get through to the umps and we will quickly see the stat count adjusted.
