.....at half time and put him in a cupboard and all the boys decided to go out in the 2nd half and actually play some real football? As in kick it forward, stop bloody handballing and panicking and show some passion! It was like aliens came down at half time and swapped our Dees for another pack! Would have loved to be a fly on the wall in the rooms...something or someone made a hell of an impact.

Thank Bloody God, it might be our only win for the season, I hope not, but what a win!

It is difficult to know whether Melbourne was struggling to adapt to a handballing, run-and-carry style game plan, or whether they were just poor in the first six-and-a-half games.

Were they instructed at half-time to kick the ball longer, to run and back themselves to get the ball into the forward line faster?

Or had they been told that all along, and it took a click or a moment of clarity to instigate a momentum that spread like a rumbling bass drum.

i think we got that click, that moment of clarity yesterday... the players had spoken in the media during the week about where they had been going wrong, and i'm glad they finally fixed it...
