There seems to be one thread still active and it doesn't say the final decision as the thread title, so I thought I would make it clear, as myself just finding out minutes ago.

The AFL match review panel has thrown out Alan Didak's report for rough conduct on Carlton's Heath Scotland despite the fact Didak's high hit left the former Magpie concussed and bleeding profusely

In what is the most controversial match review decision of the 2006 season so far, the panel ruled that Didak's contact on Scotland was accidental.

Didak's bump ruled legal

It's hard to fish on your own board but it's about time the umpiring decisions went our way. Goldspink was shocking for us and should of reversed the report.
What a crock of ****, Goldspink should have reversed the report? Why? So he could be lambasted by the rest of the anti Collingwood people? Umpires decisions your way, don't give me that bull****!

Didak nice bump and bumps shouldn't be worth weeks

thanks for that ssh.

from where i sat on sunday didak hit scotland in the side when he had the ball. not negligent, or reckless, in play, etc. a bit like how giansiracusa (who is about 5 feet tall) managed to fracture kosi's skull. should that have been reportable as well.

last time i checked afl was still a contact sport. and at the end of the game didak and scotland had a good chat, and a sort of a blokey hug (which did worry me a bit).

while you have me worked up ----> how many flags have you won? what about going broke and/or finished bottom of the ladder? made a grand final lately? even with the number of <10 draft picks.

i hate collingwood. easiest draw gets away with everything.. you guys dont deserve a thing.. u will be out of finals first week
it is a easy draw but the fixture is done before the season. Kangaroos top eight last year, collingwood has to play essendon and carlton because they draw such big crowds. We have played the top two teams twice, and we played Sydney in Sydney.

We play 4 games out of Melbourne for many reasons. a) We are a Victorian based side. b) We have a large supporter base (biggest in Vic) and revenue to the league is bigger that way, c) Collingwood has enough funds and support over the country to ensure they don't play home games interstate, d) Collingwood would rather settle an agreement in playing 4 interstate games and are proactive in not making deals that ensure they play more interstate games than they would like.
