I don't think we can have all three in the same team to be honest. Didak is still recovering post knee-op, Leon has been good and Medhurst has at times been ok but mainly cold and was awful today.

I would drop Medhurst and include Buckley if he is indeed ready for the bombers as the other 'small' forward.

Disagree... (for what my opinion is worth). Your defence costed you today. Nothing wrong with the forwardline. When Presti & Clement are back, you'll be fine. I thought Wakelin cost the game and especially by not rushing through the ball for a behind and Geelong ended up scoring their last goal.

Disagree, back line did a good job considering Geelong average about 15 goals a game, you're right though, will be better for having old heads back. Our forward line was a mess today, apart from Cloke and Leon the rest were pretty quiet. Yes, WTF was Wakelin thinking, some crap mistakes.

I thought O'Brien was worse than Wakelin today. He will benefit from having Presti and Clement back in so he can take the mid sized forwards and not the talls.

Medhurst should be dropped. He just didn't do enough today. Didak and Davis were OK.

They are playing totally different roles. Davis is in excellent form up the ground, Didak is nearing full fitness and his pace seems to be back to 100%, he's playing the crumbing role. Medhurst is still struggling but getting better each week playing a leading forwards role.

Medhurst is in danger of being dropped, but its not a choice between him and Didak and Davis, thats a silly proposition.

Correct. Why the feck would you drop a bloke that would walk into any team in the comp (Didak) ?. Or a bloke that would walk into at least 10 teams in the comp (Davis) ?.

We can play all three if they play good but Medhurst just doesn't do enough. Too inconsistant in every area of his game. He can be great defensively but doesn't show it enough. There is no harm in having him spend a long time at Williamstown, we don't need to play him just coz we traded for him. Keep him at Williamstown, get him to spend more time up the ground and build his engine to add more strings to his bow.

Medhurst is playing how Davis used to play. At least now when Davis plays poor he still contributes through getting the ball (Davis played bad but still got 13 touches, in days gone by it would've been a 3 touch game) or defensive pressure (averaging over 4 tackles a match).

I agree, in my opinion there isn't room for all three.
Didak is the certainty, and Davis should be selected ahead of Medhurst, however if Davis is in poor form, give Medhurst a go.

Medhurst should not play for Collingwood again. He was terrible again yesterday and I just don't see how he can contribute enough to command a spot in the starting 22. I'd much rather see the development of a player like Reid, Dick or Cox than the same old rubbish from Medhurst.

Send him back to Willi and drop the axe at the end of the year IMO.

Dids isn't back to his best, but is a obviously one of the first picked.

However, they are 3 VERY different players. Leon is spending half his time in the midfiled these days and is electric in there in short bursts.

Didak plays on the half forward line and Medders is a true forward pocket.

Medders outside the forward 50 is useless, he should be anchored in the goalsquare at Rocca's feet, if Rocca leads up the ground medders should come from the square.

Happy to drop Medders for Bucks though :D:thumbsu:
