Not a chance in hell would I want to see this clown wearing tiger colours.

Devil's Advocate Here:Can I ask whats the difference between Didak 25 years old AA Copeland Trophy winner with off field troubles (who none of you want) and Cousins 30+ years old, AA, Brownlow, Premiership winner with off field troubles (which everyone wanted a few months back)?

Surely if Cousins was worth taking a punt on for 2-3 years, then Didak must also be worthy of taking a punt on considering he could have 5-7 years left.

Easy to pick the differences between the accomplishments CR.:p

My question was more along the lines of, if we are going to take a risk on a trouble talent, wouldn't it be better to take the player who still plays the game at the highest level. A player who if he gets his head right could still be playing when the rest of our squad is ready to be a contender.

Rather than taking a risk on a player who by time 09 rolls around would have been sitting on the sidelines for 18+ months, who has question marks over whether he has truly overcome his off field issues and may last only 1-2 years before pulling the plug.

Personally I don't want either, but that means little when it comes time for the powers that be to make decisions.

there is a difference between troubled talent that hasnt been addressed and left to get to this point and troubled talent who has had a year off and is now getting his shit together.
There is also a difference when you think about where the troubled talents you talk of are coming from.
One is getting 4000 miles away from the trouble and the other is 3 bus stops away...;)

cousins is free

didak isnt

Love they guy on SEN this morning saying Didak was worth a 1st round draft pick easy

I laughed till i cried.
Still with GC17 just about to start delving into the picks, I'm sure clubs are going to throw 1st round draft picks for a 25yr old hack like they are confetti.

The only thing Didak is good for is a TAC ad....and only if he actually crashes the car.

Let him go to Sydney or Brisbane.

At least they have some track record when it comes to being able to deal with head-cases.

We don't.

Apart from Steve Johnson is there a better replacement for N.Brown in the AFL he is a fantastic player i for one would like him at the club as long as has he could iron out his problems.

Cousins is better looking:D

There is no way in hell i would want Didak to become a richmond player. he can take his F***ed up problems somewhere else.

We would have to give our first rounder for him, and an average player
Because we cant offord to offload a rising youngster

and also we dont need him anyway

Nathan Brown has got 2+ year left
Mitch Morton kicking his fair share of goals
Shane shorty edwards can go forward
trying to develop collard
Deledio goes forward

And we dont want to inject a player like him into our team of youth (exception of cousins)

No deal on the didak trade!
