yea i had that too.
Even though i conceeded 4 or 5 a game i'd still score the same so it looked and felt totally crap.
The movement and heading was much better in world cup 2002 than any of the previous versions. Does anybody know if this is carried over into fifa 2003??
Yeah, it is definitely allot harder to score, although the goals you do score tend to be allot more spectacular, at least for me anyway. re free kicks, the systems are different depending on where you are on the field, so you can't have a shot from half way or anything. but it is great when you do score from a free kick.
the movement is allot better, they have a new freestyle system where you use the 2nd analog stick to dodge tackles and do tricky stuff with your feet, although they have scrapped the new heading system that was in wc2002, and I don't think it is as good. I used to score quite a few goals from headers but I havent scored one yet in fifa2003.
also, i liked in wc2002 how you could pick the attacking and defending style (possession, counter attack etc) but this time you can only pick attacking normal or defensive. theyve taken a few features out of wc2002 that I wish they didnt, still a top game though.
