Different bet types

Could someone in the know (as i am not) please explain to me the different bet types on afl footy. how they work? how the odds are worked out? how to put them on? and where this needs to be done?

multi-bets????
twisted tipping????

tatts tip 8 is purely picking the 8 winners in a round

multi bets are simply bets with more than 1 leg
eg Ess to beat Ade und 39.5 & Swans to beat Richmond over 39.5
You need both to win but the odds are better because they are multiplied
You get nothing if both dont win though

Never heard of twisted tipping
Is this a non vic bet punters?
