Who should come in for Scotto this week?

I notice both Diggers and Chambers are named as emergencies this week....Was Digby dropped just to put a rocket up him only to bring him back to replace - the already suspended - Scotland?

I know we've also lost two midfielders this week but I think we need tall(ish) defenders more than we need pacey midfielders at the moment.

Ideally it would be good to see them both in the side.

Call it blind optimism but the closer this game gets the more I think we can actually upset the Power... I dreamt last night that we were 4 goals up at quarter AND half time......unfortunately I didn't get to see the full time score thanks to a crying baby (my 10mth old daughter). She still hasn't learnt to be quiet while the footy's on I'm working on it.

i think pagans plan is to try and run port off their feet and have the midfielders stop the ball getting to tredrea

so i think chambers will get the nod ahead of diggers

I tend to disagree with the shootout because Whittnal has been named CHB. I think Carlton will try and keep it to a low scoring game.

Diggers is weaker than he looks. He may aswell be an ordinary midfielder.

Chambers would be my selection.

LOL. I stopped taking notice of where they lined-up ages ago. Seeing guys like Stevens in the forward pocket is just stupid.

Don't know, Chambers was excellent throughout the Wizard Cup, but we need Diggers more because of our lack of KP defenders with both Livo and Thornton out. Who else can we put on Tredrea?

Just my opinion, but it wouldn't surprise if they lined Kouta up on Tredrea. Norman is not good enough, Whitnall is too slow, and there is basically no one else.

Would like to see Kouta run off half back and take Tredrea up the ground with him. That way, if the ball rebounds, Tredrea won't be there and Barny will take uncontested mark after uncontested mark.

Lets not scarifice someone like Teague on Tredrea, as this will only result in him kicking a bag in the first qtr.

Yep, couldn't agree more.

As good as Kouta has been in the middle it is easier to replace him with players who can get some clearances rather then picking someone else for Tredrea.

Kouta is lucky to turn a corner qucker then my Grandma with no legs.

Don't play Kouta on Tredrea, he will get more of a hammering then anyone else.

Kouta on Treadrae for mine. Whilst Kouta may be a bit slower so is everyone else and most of them shorter as well. At least Kouta will bring the ball to ground more often, rather than Treadrae marking everything. The reality is Treadrae is going to slaughter us so we need to counteract act tht by doing some slaughtering of our own..so to answer the question on this post I am glad Chambers is in because he provides pace and skill and can hit our forwards on the chest and allow them to match Treadrae's effort. Morrell will do nothing against Treadrae so we might as well have someone doing something for us up the other end.
