Digging up ancient threads

There is a new member whose idea of entertainment is to dig up threads from a year ago or whatever and post his "opinion" of them.

Is this something you can be banned for, because it makes the site a waste of time when you keep reading things that are ancient and then posting and then realising it's irrelevant and its ****ting me.
