1. I have one
2. Love it, but does have a time lag of about 20 seconds.
3. Haven't taken it away from SEN or 3AW, with a little Triple J thrown in.
What new stations? :o
4. What's 90s music?

1) Yes
2) Awesome
3) ABC Grandstand is great when big sporting events clash. News Radio, Radio Sport National, Radio Sport National, RRR, PBS. Haven't gone through the specialty stations yet, but am looking forward to llistening to some comedy at some stage on Barry (is thnat what it's called?).

1) I don't have one yet. I went to get one for my office a couple of years ago but found out RTR FM did not broadcast in digital so given that is the station that I listen to most at work, it seemed pointless. They do broadcast digitally now so gonna get one very soon.
2) Don't know yet but sure I will !
3)Friends of mine have it and pick up a lot of foreign stations. I would definitely make ABC Jazz a favourite already. I often put it on the tele when I am working.

As for popularity stakes Roostersgal, if you like 90s music, you like it. Just enjoy and don't worry what anybody says. :thumbsu:

Popularity is over rated anyway !

My little boy got me a digital radio for Fathers Day so had it for a few weeks now in my office and love it.

I have it on ABC Jazz a lot and September's artist of the month has been Miles Davis so loving that ! I love that the song titles come up on the screen.

Tried SBS Chill for a few hours one day. Very good, definitely chilling but maybe too chilling when I am trying to work. It reminds me of the Foxtel Lounge music channel.

This morning, I put it on ABC Dig. Here is a list of artisit that has been on

Boy and Bear - Artist of the week/month, not sure
Clare Bowditch
Joni mitchell
Steve Earle
Bob Dylan
Louise Perryman and the Paisley Couch - never heard of them but really liked the song
The Stooges
The Decemberists
The Low Anthem
The Panics
Rufus Wainwright
Brenda Holloway - never heard of her but the song was Every Little Bit Hurts which I loved by Spencer Davis Group. I imagine this was the original and it was brilliant
Ron Sexmith
Prefab Sprout
Broken Social Scene
Holly Throsby
Augie March
Bruce Springsteen
Louis Jordan and his Tympany 5
Sally Seltman
Beach Boys
Okkervil River
Solomon Burke
Devo
Sufjan Stevens
The Bamboos
Cream
David Byrne
The Cruel Sea

Eclectic and interesting. Loving it so far. (The Spin Doctors - Fist Full of Kryptonite was the one massive down moment for the morning)

I really love Stereo Mood: http://www.stereomood.com

You pick a 'mood' and it gives you a playlist based on that mood. It kind of works...I've never really had playlists that had much I wasn't in the 'mood' for.

Chemist Warehouse have a digital station dedicated to 90s music and as a child of the 90s it is freaking awesome. In a half hour period I heard La Bouche, Ace of Base, Roachford, Fast Love by George Michael and The Way by Fastball.

No DJs, very few ads (except well, terrible Chemist Warehouse ads), just the cheesiest 90s music there is, and I can't get enough of it.:thumbsu:

Bump this thread.

Dig Music has gone and is now Double J. The music is still very good when I listen. Artist in Residence last week with Robert Forster playing his favourite Bowie songs of the 70s has been a highlight.

Does anybody know of a digital radio that can be used in the car? One that can be plugged into the lighter power ? I am not a very technically minded person, but I imagine you know what I mean.
