We lost, but in the end i cant help but rue the fact we let the game get away from us a bit early in the 3rd and we missed a lot of chances in the 4th, Kennelly and Davis missing from 50m out which is usually their bread and butter. Not to be tonight, but we should bounce back next week against the Bombers.

Definitely feeling a bit down at the moment, we had our chances and blew them through poor kicking for goal.

I don't want to bag a bloke who has been so great for us, but BBB Baz is a much more dangerous player when he stays at home in the goal square and doesn't keep running up to the wing.

I'm confident we're still the real deal though - there's no shame in what happened tonight.

If bloody Davis kicked that goal, we would've had the run of it and couldve got out on top. But no......

What about Kenelly running into goal twice i think?
Anyway we lost it in the first 4 minutes after half time. take that out of the game and we woulda won by 10 points and there would be question marks about Adelaide because they were absoulety crap tonight besides those 4 mins.

I have to agree, we were never able to reel them back after they got away so quickly in the 3rd as their defense has been water tight this year. What did we kick after half time? 2.7 or something? Geez, if only we converted better.

But IMO, we can take a lot from the game that if we meet them in the finals, travelling to AAMI should hold no fear. We dominated them most of the night and what can you say about Adam Goodes, he must love playing at AAMI

Any idea why Roos doesn't appear to give Jarred Moore much game time.

The kid can play just give him a decent shot at it.

Davis should have definitely gotten that goal, but no one knows what could have happened after. I just want to point out that losing by 2 is a lot worse than losing by 7. Lets not be too down.

I was thinking the same but the first 2 kicks that vogels (another youngster) put on were to opposition. But having said that, moore did have fresh legs.

Another tough one for you guys next week. Bombers are coming into some good form at the wrong end of the season. Looking forward to watching another tought physical game.

If Kirk had done enough to not get touched on the line... if Monty had not missed that sitter... if ROK had not missed the sitter after crumbing well and running to his natural side... if Hall had given off the handball from the pocket instead of trying to take on a couple of guys himself... if O'Loughlin had taken that mark...

A bit sensitive on the Davis lad, eh, stella.
