I watched this flick starring Michael Douglas and Demi Moore the other week. I had seen it before, but probably not too long after it came out, so it was mostly a blur from what I remember.

Anyway, I thought the whole thing about Moore sexually harassing Douglas to be a complete cop out. Douglas says "no" 31 times during the seduction scene, yet he doesn't have the strength or self control to throw Moore on her arse immediately after he realises Moore is coming on to him. After that scene, Douglas doesn't really show any amount of guilt for letting the episode drag on for so long the way it did. He then eventually wins the legal case since the whole scene was voice recorded, but had it been tape recorded I can't say it would have favoured Douglas.

The whole office politics angle that ensues afterwards was alright, but I thought the scene of Douglas using the Virtual Reality "Digicom" thing to get some valuable files was quite lame.

I like Michael Douglas, but thought the character he had to play restricted his talents and I just thought the flick was pretty ordinary. Sharon Stone also wanted to follow up the success of "Basic Instinct" with another sexy mystery/drama/thriller of her own, starring in "Sliver" in 1993, which I thought was really bad.
