It's probably nothing but I just wanted to pass on the information that I received from a brother of one of the senior players.

Apparently alot of the senior group are very upset about the treatment of Brad Fisher considering he was dropped after playing only 1 game where he had limited opportunities. He was also set to play his 100th game if he hadn't been dropped.

A couple of words that probably need clarification:

A lot - how many is a lot of the senior group.....2....3......10?
Very upset - I can understand most being "disappointed" for Fisher, but after the reality of what his replacement did (Robbo on Fletcher) it's pretty hard to argue the toss and be "upset" over it.

Semantics I know, but we only have a few guys on the list who would have played more that a couple of years with Fisher, enough to feel some strong bond with him, and some of those (Hoops, Walker) aren't in the team ATM.

On Walker, if he is annoyed about being dropped, hopefully he uses that anger to improve his game instead of agitate and undermine the MC. As it stands we lost very little from his not being there. In fact the run from defence was as good as it has ever been last week.

Tex needs to spend a summer working on two things IMO - hitting targets on the run and defensive pressure/tackling/transition running.
