i'm sure GD brethren would be able to let us know which vans have the best ride and handling.

Are they difficult to climb out of at the station?

Are Divy Vans lowered?

Seem a few lately and noticed how they ride low? Perhaps because of the weight of the enclosure?

Anyway, got me thinking, lets start a thread on all things related to Divy Vans.
If they were lowered they would be un-roadworthy, conspiracy theory ?

I jay walked once recently (I was in a hurry) and then a recently decommissioned cop car drove past and started to pull over.

So recently decommissioned that it still had the visible but faded pattern of a cop car, though it was now a tradie of some sort behind the wheel.

Beats of the heart were missed- I thought I was about to get done!

Been in the divvy van a couple of times

Bay 13 mods don't know a quality thread when they see one

Didn't an Aboriginal guy die in the back of one when being transported from some remote community to Derby a few years ago? Air con can't have been working if that's the case.

It was a prison van (if you're thinking of the one I think you're thinking of). And yes, the the air conditioning wasn't working.

Haven't been in the back of one for many a year now, but there sure as hell weren't seat belts!

We use to call them dog boxes. I never understood the connection between canines and pigs.

Certainly not comfortable, and I can't recall any seat belts. I recall acting like a smartarse to the cop who didn't take to kindly to it and decided to drive like Seb Vettel back to the station which resulted in me flying around on the smooth metal in the back like a pinball.

We call them bull wagons. No idea why.

I have been in one of the old ones, which was basically a ute tray with aluminum benches and a canvas-covered cage. It wasn't comfortable, but the plastic boxes they have these days look worse.
