I would imagine there would be some sort of payment involved but the main reason behind going would be to promote the game outside our borders. An excellent thing for our game.

P.s. Cranium, do you download the matches to watch by any chance? That would help ease the anxiety :)

When the Paris to Dakar was cancelled I am happy they are not headed that way. Prefer my team alive!
What are you up to there?

Just started here mate at the end of the last footy season, if ya can post me a link that would be great. Supply of electricity is a worry here, as well as the integrity of the internet at times.

Mauritania is the worry at the moment, Senegal is fine. I work in mining mate, so on my time off I travel, so I wouldn't expect to be back in Oz until Mar 09.

Don't work too hard.
Any locals who you think might make the grade in AFL? Maybe Dakar could be the new Ireland. Some are tall, and going by marathon runners have endless tanks! You might be making a killing in mining but a recruiting officer who may find a diamond in the rough...think about it and teach them the game!

Full on job out there mate. Am currently looking into private military companies impact on sovereignty......any thoughts ? Dont suppose you know anthing about cobalt mining ?

Oh and you can download stuff from telstra afl.com.au, if you are having troubles I will be back in London soon, myself and Dramouth are stuck in old blilghty with little connection, but tend to sort things out.

You are almost guranteed of being able to listen live to anything you want via afl.com.au

If you have fox in oz you can use a switch box and send it to your laptop or mobile).

Then there are torrents, which are illegal, ......apparantly.

Someone on here should tape the game for other blues and do a mail out for a small comission, if it is legal ?

Private military companies - Not present here in Senegal mate. cobalt - Never done it, Gold & Mineral Sands are my game at the moment.

Doesn't AFL.com.au block live scores etc to International area (unless you subscribe) I was in Singapore last year and it only gave a basic page.

If I have any dramas I'll post something on here so it can be investigated - No Blues will make me Blue.

Once we become operational, we will employ 85% nationals, they are very big into soccer, we have to build a field for them on the mine site. But it will be interesting to see what happens when we bring out the Sherrins.

All games are available to watch streaming from afl.com.au 24 hours after the final siren, HOWEVER, if you live in Australia this service is ONLY for Bigpond Broadband members.

But if you live overseas (which you obviously do) you can pay something like AUD$60 for a 12 months subscription.

There is also that thing on the AFL website where it plays out where the ball currently is on a map of a football field. I can't recall what it's called, but when I didn't have access to Foxtel through out last year, i'd switch on the radio and watch it.

No worries :thumbsu:

Now we just need to make a thread for all Bigpond Broadband subscribers to post their usernames and passwords ;)

Torrents are fine, its what is on the file. If you have the rights you can send all things via a torrent. If you share a torrent without Authorisation you can get in trouble.

The best sites like Demonoid have been shut down, after moving cause they got shut down. The other sites are mini nova and the Pirate bay. Biggest prob with these sites is there isn't much Afl football, as most are from Holland.

I'll pm you
