Simply, NO....
Hope Saddington and even Kennedy make the trip West this week coming in place of an unfortunately sore Fisher and De Luca..

Don't forget Setanta 76'er ;)
DeLuca's size and mobility make him a hard player to match up on. The problem is that he goes missing way too often. On his good days he has looked like a powerful unit up forward. But on his bad days he touches the ball 5 or 6 time and that just isnt enough.

I would consider a replacement from the following: O'Hailpin, Hartlett, Saddington, but most definately when he is match fit Kennedy will take that spot. Our forward line would then consist of Waite, Fevola, Fisher, Kennedy, Betts and one other..... Not a bad half I say!

I thought he was the only player not to pull their weight yesterday. I would hope the only reason he got a game was because Hartlett, O'hailpin and Kennedy were all either coming back from injury or underdone in Kennedy's case.

DeLuca should be nothing more than a handy depth player. The sealer for me was watching him get man-handled by Ferguson in the goalsquare a one stage. Ferguson FFS!

I wasn't happy with Deluca's game. He and Sporn were the only 2 players I didn't like out there. Although Sporn's disposal improved in the final quarter.

But Deluca, he hasn't changed. He still can't take a contested make. He can't even knock the ball down to our advantage.

As for Teague, I've always stuck up for him, but McGrath had his spot last night, and he definitely impressed. For all the courage Teague has, he can't match McGrath for flare. It's horses for courses, but if we continue to play our running, hands off style of play, Teague will find it difficult to get selected.

Simple answer.......NO! And as soon as Kennedy is fit enough to play in the seniors DeLuca will get alot of game time with the Bullants.

Fair call, but I would pick Teague before Sporn any day of the week.

Setenta has to be given his chance soon, he has a lot of talent and offers a lot more than Deluca, will take his place as soon as he is ready. Setenta and Kennedy should be fighting for the same spot, Hartlett could find a spot off the pine too.

Feel for Teague though the game just seems to pass him by, with the speed and skill level, he could have been a champion if he played 15-20 years ago, just not quick enough!

Deluca doesn't really have much to offer anymore since we picked up McLaren either, just filling a spot this week while other players were getting match fit

It was so frustrating seeing him drop all those marks! If he doesn't improve on his grabs he's not going to last very long in the seniors.

He reminds me of a much less talented version of Trent Hotton. We definatley do not want to be relying on him for goals or a big play at any stage of the season.

He needs to remove what ever he has in his clacker! I've never seen any one run like that. When he removes what ever it is he might finally hold a mark, let alone a contested one. He frustrates the ******** out of me too!
