Put it this way, read the main board and see how many posters rate us lowly, usually with no justification than their preejudice. Yes we have been hopeless over the last 30 years, and no, no I'm not saying that we will storm in the eight this year. However, I reckon were better than the bottom 3 that many have us slated, much better. I think were better then Essendon, for instance, early Hird mania will dissipate by April. We are probably par with Melbourne or Nth at this stage. Put anotherway I reckon we'll be this seasons Dark Horse

With the extra develoment over the preseason its my opinion that we will do much better this year.. we have added a few more classy players and other players are fighting for spots.. List is fine, our performances so far have shown us to be well on the right track, reckon we a better than many actually rate us. Thats not getting ahead of ourselves either.

Has their ever been a February/March (excluding last year) when the Tiger faithful hasn’t proclaimed that “This year is different- we are on the rise” No, I can’t remember one. So it’s only natural other supporters and media etc are sceptical as they have heard it ad nauseam since KB took over.

We finished 15th last year, were terrible for the first part of the season and will start this year with one of the most inexperienced and youngest lists. It's hard include GC because they have extra players which would all be 17 and 18 year olds, so this brings down their average age and experienced by the numbers a lot.

IMO most on the main board are rating us above at least 3 or 4 teams from predicted ladders, and I think that is around the mark to be fair.

there are postives signs that said all teams are having postive signs at this stage

i think we are bout 8-14 on the ladder this year we shouldn't finish last

The bummers have already bought finals tickets after the NAB showing, we havent really given any reason to be rated by other clubs, IMO i think we might sneak into eigth if we can get over the Banana Skins against the tankers, But that is still a long way away , we dont exactly have the easiest start to the season..

Our list still has some gaps but if jack stands up again and gets some support from vick, griff etc well who knows.

The style is starting to come through and next year will be make or break for Dimma, if we can string 5 or six games together whilst the season is still alive then we are in with a shout.

Unfortunately i cant see the main board till end of march so who cares about what the other supporters say.

I agree wth a few others in that I don't mind being under rated. All I want to see is a steady progression and gradual improvement from all players.even if we finish a couple of places up on last years ladder I'll be happy. GO TIGES

I think we will improve on last year but look at it realistically. So far this pre-season we have lost a 40 minute game we lead by 3 goals at half time, been smashed off the park by Collingwood and beat Pt Adelaide in Alice Springs by 3 points.... it was far from a convincing win guys

What I want to know is, apart from general banter and a few diehards, who exactly from Richmond has actually said this? Its not responsible journalism, but its just taking the piss out of us and making us look like feral idiots.

DARK HORSE FOR SURE!!! we have a fantastic team that will go far. let people under rate us, it'll even be better to rub it in there face. yeah i agree with how every year we say its different, but i believe we all knew it wasnt and that we just want a bit of false hope. this is real hope that i am feeling. i havent seen a richmond side with this much potential in a long time. the club is growing dramatically as well. we have all the players to get this team far. very young side as well, so plenty of time to evolve. we played very well against port the other night. they had a more experienced side then us but still we bet them. we still had newman, lids and riewoldt out witch are 3 very important players, that will boost our team a lot more when they play. we have a challenge this week against hawks. we should have those 3 players back in and should get a good idea to where we will be heading

lol are you serious we didnt even have our side in, when we played carlton and the pies. there is no way you can judge them on that. we actually had a lot of good signs come from that game. did u watch port vs richmond? there were really good signs in that game as well, we had lids, newman and riewoldt out of the team. 3 really important players. vickery kicked 5 goals, miller 2, and nahas stepped up a lot
